About
I help senior business leaders make sense of AI.
Most AI advice falls into two camps: vendor hype or academic theory. Neither is useful when you're making real decisions with real budgets and real consequences.
I sit in the gap between technology and business. I translate complex AI capabilities into clear strategic options. I tell leaders what's real, what's hype, and what's worth their attention.
What I Do
I work with C-suite executives and senior leadership teams to:
- Assess AI readiness and identify high-value opportunities
- Cut through vendor noise and evaluate AI tools honestly
- Build practical AI strategies that account for data, people, and process
- Bridge the gap between technical teams and business leadership
Background
I've spent over two decades in technology — building products, leading teams, and advising organisations on digital transformation. I've seen enough technology hype cycles to know the difference between signal and noise.
I started Getting AI Done because I was tired of watching smart leaders get sold expensive AI solutions to problems they hadn't properly defined. There's a better way, and it starts with honest conversation.
The Blog and Podcast
Everything I publish here reflects the same principles I bring to client work: be direct, be honest, and focus on what actually works. No jargon for the sake of it. No hype. No hand-wringing.
If you're a senior leader trying to figure out what AI means for your organisation, you're in the right place.
